Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe airport and transfer to hotel

Upon arrival, our representative will meet and pick you from the airport and you will transfer to the Guest House. Overnight hotel, Hotel options include Protea Hotel, The Boma, Karibu guest house, Hotel Number 5. Meal Plan B&B

Day 2: Botanical gardens Entebbe and Bigodi swamp

On this day, you driver will pick you up from the guest House after you have had your break fast and will drive you to botanical gardens Entebbe. The botanical gardens offer an excellent introduction to Uganda’s birds ranging from the Lake Victoria specials like the grey kestrel to the more widely spread but none the less striking black headed gonolek, red chested sun bird and common wattle eye.

On this day, your guide will also take you to the Mabamba Swamp 12km east of Entebbe. As a Ramsar site this area extends across a shallow marshy bay on the northern shore of Lake Victoria. some 300 bird species have been recorded here. The prime attraction of the Mabamba swamp is the charismatic shoebill.

After here you will go back to the hotel and relax, prepare for you your safari to western Uganda. Meal Plan B&B

Entebbe botanical gardens is an attractively laid out mix of indigenous forest, cultivation, Horticulture and a highly attractive destination to bird watchers. There are some mammals around, so you can be confident of seeing Vervet monkeys, black and white Colobus and some tree squirrels.

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park (250km, 4-5hrs)

On this day, after your breakfast at the hotel, you guide/ driver will pick you, after briefing about the journey, you will set off and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. You will have your lunch enroute. You should Arrive in Lake Mburo national park in time for an afternoon game drive. The Park harbours mammal species not likely to be observed elsewhere in the country and your guide will help you spot as many as he can. Mburo is the largest of the five lakes that lie with in the National Park. The rest of the park is covered by open Savanah and woodland dominated by acacia. Lake Mburo is home to a number of Mammal species, the park habors the only remaining population of the Impala, an antelope after which Kampala, the capital City was named. The lake supports a healthy population of the warthog, buffalo, Hippos, Zebras, the recently introduced Giraffes and a many other animals

Day 4: AM Game drive Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (240 km 4hrs 30 mins)

After an early breakfast at your hotel, your guide will pick you from the hotel after checking out, he will help you spot more animals as you exit the park to transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The best route entails following a surfaced Kabale road for 60 kms Past Mbarara to Ntungamo then turning right into surfaced road, 45km to Rukungiri. Here you can take the most direct road which runs for 85kms through Kambuga and Kanungu, though you can also use Kambuga Kihihi. Day 5: Gorilla Tracking Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Early rise at the lodge and have breakfast, and prepare for the highlight of your safari, Gorilla tracking experience, You will transfer to the park offices where you will be allocated a Gorilla family in groups of 8 and a Gorilla tracking guide. Your guide will brief you about you assigned Gorilla family and appropriate safety precautions and then you will drive to the trail head for the start of a thrilling adventure.

Expect to walk to walk between 2 and 8 hours in steep and sometimes muddy conditions with rain overhead which ca be tricky and may require an average degree of fitness. However, the thrill of coming face to face with the Giant Silverback ultimately makes up for the effort invested.

Please remember to bring your passport for registration. Appropriate, waterproof hiking boots and a light rain coat. To protect from stinging nettles, we recommend long pants and long-sleeved tops. A pair of old gardening gloves can help grab on to the vegetation, while most hotels/lodges provide a walking stick that comes in very handy, especially when hiking downhill. A small waterproof back pack is an excellent idea to carry a light snack, bottled water as well as protection for your camera.

Upon sighting the Gorillas, you will spend 1 hour with them as they go about their daily life; feeding, moving, playing, raising their young ones and sometimes wrestling by the juveniles. It is a very unique and unforgettable experience.

After this experience, you will hike back to the base, where your driver will be waiting to transfer you to the lodge for a deserved shower and dinner at the Lodge, Meal Plan FB

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park (125km 4-5 hrs.)

On this day, after an early breakfast, you check out of your lodge and set off for Queen Elizabeth National Park through Kihihi and the Ishasha Sector. As you drive through the Ishasha sector, your guide will help you track the famous tree climbing lions. There are over 40 individuals split across three prides. The plains in this sector also support large herds of buffalo, kob and smaller family groups of Topi and water bucks. You will be able to see elephants, warthog and various monkeys. Continue and check in at the Lodge, Options include Elephant Plains Lodge, Crater Safari Lodge, Kasenyi safari Camp, Queen Elizabeth Bush Lodge. Meal Plan FB

Somewhat removed from the rest of Queen Elizabeth National Park, Ishasha sector which runs south from Lake Edward flanked by Ishasha River to the west and Ntungwe River to the east, ranks among the most alluring game viewing areas anywhere in the country.

Day 7: Kyambura Gorge Chimp Tracking

On this day, after an early breakfast at your lodge, your guide will pick you and you will head to Katunguru Park headquarters to secure your permits. You will the proceed to the chimp tracking trail head, 2.5 km east of Ishaka road. You will be allocated a guide that will take you through pre-tracking briefing and then you will continue to have your chimp tracking experience at Kyambura. Kyambura is the only habituated chimpanzee community in queen Elizabeth National Park and inhabits an isolated strip of forested land in the 100m deep Kyambura river Gorge which runs for 16 km on the Park’s eastern boundary with Kyambura Wildlife reserve.

Day 8: AM Game Drive and PM Boat Cruise in QENP

After your breakfast, your guide will brief you on the day’s activities and then you will set off for the morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park through both Mweya peninsula and the Kasenyi Plains where you will be able to see animals like the lion, Herds of elephants, antelopes, the elusive leopard and many mammals, Bird and reptile animal species. After the game drives we head back to the Lodge for you lunch.

Day 9: Transfer to Kibaale Forest National Park, Bigodi Swamp walk (105km 2hrs 10mins)

On this day, after breakfast at the lodge, your guide will pick you up and you will transfer to Kibaale Forest national park. On arriving at Kibaale you check in at the Lodge and later go for a swamp walk at Bigodi swamp. After the swamp walk, you will return to the lodge and relax. Bigodi swamp walk offers some of the finest bird viewing and monkey watching in Uganda. The swamp walk through Bigodi wetland sanctuary is admirable example of conservation. In one walk, you are at a chance of identifying more than 40 bird species. If you are lucky, you might see chimpanzees which often visit the swamp to forage for fruit.

Day 10: Kibale Forest National Park

On this day, after early rise at the Lodge and have your breakfast. After the pre-tracking briefing, you will either walk or drive to the trail head for the start of a sensational chimpanzee tracking experience, hiking in the footsteps of the habituated family of chimpanzees. After the chimpanzee tracking experience, you will Return back to the Lodge for lunch, you can have a community walk around Kibale forest and take time to explore the nature and the lovely people. Alternatively, you can also have a tour of the crater lakes, this area hosts over three dozen crater lakes in three clusters; Rweetera cluster with three lakes, Rwaihamba cluster with 10 lakes and Kasenda cluster with about 20 lakes. Later return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight at the lodge – (FB)

Day 11: Transfer to MFNP (340kms 5hrs 30mins)

After your breakfast, your driver/guide will pick you from the lodge and after briefing you about the journey, you set off and head to Murchison Falls National Park. Day 12: Murchison Falls National Park

Early rise at the Lodge, after breakfast, your guide will brief u about the day’s activities and start the day with the game drive in the northern bank of the Nile, with chances of seeing the Rothchild’s Giraffe, elephants, lions, Jacksons Hartebeests, Oribis, Waterbucks, different bird species, and if it’s your lucky day, you will see the elusive Leopard.

Day 13: Transfer from QENP to Entebbe (310kms 5hrs)

On this day, after your breakfast at your lodge, you will check out of the hotel and set off on your Journey to Entebbe. Arrival and check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel, Options include Karibu Guest House, Protea Hotel, Hotel Number 5, Meal Plan B&B

In the afternoon, after lunch, enjoy a boat lunch on the Nile to the bottom of the falls and hike to the top of the falls where you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the World’s most powerful water fall. Day 14: Kampala City tour (40kms 1hr)

On this day, after breakfast at your hotel, your Guide will head towards Kampala for the city tour. While on this tour, you should be able to visit the different hills that make up Kampala and the Major Landmarks. After the tour, you will head back to the Hotel, Dinner and overnight at the Hotel, Meal Plan B&B
